2010 Standard Mileage Rates Effective 1/1/2010, the standard mileage rate will decrease from 55 cents per mile to 50 cents per mile. The new rate for computing deductible medical or moving expense mileage will decrease from 24 cents per mile to 16.5 cents per mile. The rate for providing services to charitable organizations is set by statute and remains at 14 cents per mile.
